The shorts are partially concealed by the long skirt, which is open at the front. It has a thin elasticized waist. This will move beautifully when you walk . I’m afraid it doesn’t have fabric or size tags. When I laundered this, I used cold water on delicate and then hung it to dry. No ironing required. It feels like a lightweight poly cotton blend.
