The checklist: 1. Trench coat for all the layering 2. The Turtleneck or crewneck preferably cashmere 3. Anything Plaid! 4. The loafer, classic penny or a modern platform 5. Neutral colors: brown, cream, tan, black, and moody red wine merlot 6. Accessories such as scarves, reading glasses, extra socks, logo tights 7. Oxford shirt and ruffles for more of a romantic librarian style 8. Dr. Martins for the edgy prep 9. Converse sneakers for that school girl vibe. 10. Vintage statement pieces like a designer scarf, Pendleton wool pleated skirt, a sweater vest, a vintage artisan leather bag such as COACH. 11. A trouser style wool pant 12. A touch of suede or leather: a black maxi leather skirt or brown suede trousers, or leather gloves.
