Antique honeymoon brooch crescent moon pin black vintage celestial floral

Tiny Antique "honeymoon" brooch with a flower and crescent moon. This type of brooch was worn by newly married brides. The name of this type of pin is a rebus- "honey" for the nectar of the flower, and "moon". It's made of blackened gold tone metal. It has the old C clasp. I am guessing it to have been made in the 1910s Edwardian era. It does have some wear to the black enamel and patina, still lovely as is. Measures about 1" long. Ships fast!
