Dog in Hat Brooch Red Hat Society Eye Glass Holder NOS

This Red Hat Society dog brooch features a silver tone dog wearing a red hat. It has a magnetic back. It measures 1.75" x 1" and is signed EF for the designer, Esther Fuhrman. On the back of the brooch there is a patented drop down loop that can hold your eye glasses, name tag, badge, ID cards, etc. When not in use as a functional piece of jewelry, the loop can be flipped back up behind the pin where it is secured with a magnet. Ester Fuhrman was a sculptor and designer who was commissioned by names like QVC, Macy's and Red Hat Society. She has since retired and her pieces have only become harder to come by!
