Rare Vintage 70s King Tut Keychain Bag Charm Egypt San Francisco Travel Souvenir

This rare and limited keychain keychain is a souvenir from the "Treasures of Tutankhamun" exhibition held at the de Young Museum in San Francisco in 1979. San Francisco was originally not scheduled to be in the tour — when they found out, the citizens bombarded the Mayor's office with inquiries. As a result, people flew to meet with the Egyptian museum in Cairo to negotiate a seventh stop — the last stop on the tour in the United States! This keychain celebrates both the exhibit's visit to the United States as well as Egyptian history. A rare find!
