From my large vintage Native American turquoise collection comes this amazing old (circa 1950s or 1960s) Navajo statement necklace made of a large Morenci turquoise slab decorated with a sterling foxtail detail and hung on a chain strung with Navajo bench beads and Navajo pearls. The necklace is unsigned and unmarked but has tested as sterling. The chain is approximately 22” long. It weighs 35 grams. I have not polished it to preserve the vintage patina; there is quite a bit of tarnish on the piece which adds to its charm. I hate to part with it but I just don’t ever wear it.
