Vintage BSK gold-tone tulip or rosebud brooch, a standout example of mid-century American costume jewelry. The open filigree flower head is crafted in textured gold-tone metal and cradles a large simulated baroque-style pearl. The stem junction is set in rhodium-plated metal paved with rhinestones, with additional rhinestone accents at the side bud and stem tip. A smaller round simulated pearl sits in a gold-tone blossom on the side stem. Rollover pin back. Marked © BSK on reverse. Measures approximately 2.5” in length. BSK (Beh, Silverman & Kandell) was a New York costume jewelry firm active from the late 1940s through the 1970s, known for quality construction and elegant design. A beautiful wearable vintage piece.
Please keep in mind this is a vintage item and not new; minor surface wear consistent with careful age may be present. Please view all photos as they are part of the description. I’m happy to answer any questions.
