Based in Portland, Oregon, the Dehen Knitting Company has been producing some of the nicest made-in-the-USA knits you'll ever see for well over 100 years now. This Shawl Sweater Coat in Whiskey is one of their flagship products, made of a thick worsted wool fabric that insulates against the cold and looks incredibly dapper at the same time. Truly a "grail" piece for anyone who appreciates American manufacturing and the cozy warmth of a luxurious "Grandpa Core" cardigan. This "Whiskey" color strikes a perfect balance between tan and brown — and it looks almost gold in certain lighting, too. I bought this directly from the Dehen Store in Portland a couple of years ago, but I've lost a bunch of weight since then & the sweater is now just bigger than I generally prefer. Very, VERY gently worn — no signs of wear anywhere. I don't have the tags anymore, but this is practically a brand new item. Although I am always open to offers, the listed price is quite firm (and represents a $100 savings off retail for what is basically a brand new item). Please make serious offers only.
