Shoho Arita Vintage 5” Small Plate Blue White Porcelain Abstract Matsuba Japan

Vintage Japanese Arita-yaki 5" small plate by Shōhō Kiln (昭峰). Mid-to-late 20th c. Features a hand-painted cobalt blue underglaze (sometsuke) abstract pine needle (matsuba) pattern on white porcelain. Finished with a scalloped edge and traditional iron-brown glazed rim (kuchiben). Signed on base with blue square cartouche marker. Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. Perfect as a trinket dish, sauce plate, or replacement piece. Measures approx. 5” (12.5 cm).
