VTG Indiana Glass Deep Ruby Red Glass Ruffled Collar Fruit Bowl Cadmium Glow

Beautiful deep red bowl "Fruit Garland," is a 1930s-era pressed glass pattern featuring an embossed relief design of bananas, grapes, cherries, and leaves molded directly into the glass. Produced by the Indiana Glass Company, an American glass manufacturer famed for its mass production of elegant and colorful Depression Glass. The bowl has a deep orange cadmium glow on the rim under black light. It confirms the presence of cadmium sulfides used to lock in the vibrant, deep ruby red color.
