Vintage Medievel Art Silver Sunface Medallion Pendant

Intricate round medallion with a central sunface motif. Striking statement piece that can be worn as a brooch or chain. *brooch part was attached "after market". Replica of the Gold Merovingian-era "Limons Disc" from the 6th or 7th century, featuring a central face motif surrounded by intricate open-work. The design is based on a famous Franconian gold disk found in Limons, France, often associated with Migration Period art. Hard to read the stamp on the back shown in last couple of photos. but I believe it to be 925 sterling silver..it is not magnetic if that helps.
