Harder-to-Find ~ Graceful Domed Shape COACH SHERIDAN WENDELL BRIEF TOTE handmade in Costa Rica in 1995 in rare all British Tan or cognac Approximately Widest 17.5" x Tallest 12" x Deep 5" Durable Full-Grained Leather & Faille Silk Lining treated to resist stains Full Length Top Zipper Closure Zippered Deep Wall & Large Open Pocket Double 30" Straps with a 12" Drop *** This Sheridan Wendell (a larger sized Roswell) is a rare handmade Coach tote in a limited run. With its graceful domed shape, each bag was handmade (not handcrafted) using Italian imported leather that was treated to be scratch, water and stain resistant. The pebbled textured leather further has an antiqued quality meant to also lend a classic "old world" elegance that you see in the European luxury bag market. Condition: Looking at the exterior, the leather shows minor wear mainly to the bottom corners and wobbling at the top--that comes along with the domed structure. The interior is clean, but you can find bubbling on the open pocket. I suspect this is a result of aging glue material that attaches the lining to its structure. A small darkening spot at the top might stem from the same issue. Also remnants of adhesive--sticker?
