This necklace is made of a gold tone metal and has an adjustable lobster clasp closure. The chain is lightweight and dainty, and is accented by tiny metal "blocks". The pendant is shaped like a puffy heart and opens like a locket. The chain and pendant were originally separate, making this a marriage of convenience. There is normal wear throughout, most visible as a cloudiness and superficial marks in the surface of the locket.
