Antique German Porcelain Bowl Teal Blue Ombre Roses Gold Scrollwork Crown Mark

Deep teal fading to white, five rose medallions, gold scrollwork dense enough to get lost in. This turn-of-the-century German export bowl carries a vocabulary that defined the best of the American import trade — blue ground, polychrome orange and yellow roses in cartouche reserves, arabesques and dot-fill gilding covering the border from rim to well. Marked with a crown and "Germany" on the base with mold number 186/7394, dating it firmly to 1891–1914.
