Authentic vintage Coach Beaumont satchel, style 9871, in classic British Tan glove-tanned leather. Made in the USA in 1998. Includes the original shoulder strap and Coach hangtag. I purchased this bag new from the Coach Outlet in Lenox, MA, in the late 1990s and have owned it ever since. Well cared for and in good vintage condition, especially considering it is approximately 27 years old. However, it is a used bag and shows signs of age and wear. Please review all photos carefully. Notable wear includes: • Surface scratches, scuffs, and rubs to the leather. • Corner and piping wear, including some exposed edges. • Wear and darkening to the handles and shoulder strap from use. • The shoulder strap is especially soft and very well broken in. • Persistent tarnish and patina to the brass hardware. • Some white residue remains in crevices from a previous attempt to polish the brass with Brasso. • Minor marks and imperfections consistent with age and use. • Light wear to the interior, which remains clean overall. The leather remains soft and supple and has developed the rich patina that vintage Coach bags are known for. The zipper operates smoothly, the bag retains its structure nicely, and all original components, including the strap and hangtag, are present. A beautiful and increasingly hard-to-find example of a late 1990s USA-made Coach bag with plenty of life left in it.
