This was a fun experience. My bid for this (For 2 Pearls in clam) was $85. They opened the clam right in front of you and you get to watch them get the pearl out. They call this the king Baroque pearl. It’s actually fascinating how they insert the clam with pieces of their shells and it takes 5 to 10 years for the pearl to grow. Because the pearl is natural and organically formed, it features a one-of-a-kind asymmetrical shape, natural ridges, and a gorgeous iridescent luster that shifts under the light.
