Vintage Handmade Teddy Bear Clown Brooch

Whimsical and absolutely adorable this vintage brooch was handmade with a wooden base and hand painted to portray a teddy bear dressed as a clown. It is decorated with red and white polka dots, a ruffled collar, clear rhinestone buttons, and a pointed party hat. Measures 3.75” x 1.75” with a secure roll-over clasp. The design is inspired by the artwork of Gordon Fraser, who famously created a similar matching character line for Schmid collectibles in 1983. Excellent vintage condition.
