Jethro Tull Thick As A Brick Newspaper Reprise MS 2072 US 1st Press 1972 Original 1972 U.S. first pressing of Jethro Tull – Thick As A Brick on Reprise Records, pressed at Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Santa Maria. Complete with the original newspaper-style gatefold and all pages present. Vinyl: Very Good Plus (VG+). The vinyl retains a nice gloss and shows light surface scuffs and a few minor hairlines, consistent with normal use, play, and handling. There is a small area of discoloration near the 10 o’clock position toward the outer edge on one side, shown in the photos. Labels remain clean. Jacket: Very Good (VG). Original newspaper-style gatefold jacket with light shelf, edge, and corner wear consistent with age, along with a small stain on the back cover, shown in the photos. The gatefold remains structurally sound with no seam splits. Newspaper Insert: Includes the complete original newspaper with all pages present. The “F” in “Family” on page 6 appears to have been doodled on. Otherwise, it remains in nice vintage condition with typical handling wear for its age.
