Featuring a classic western-inspired cattleman crown profile with a wide, flat structured brim. The hat is a crisp cream/off-white color, accented with a delicate matching multi-strand cord band and side-knot detail. Inside features a high-quality black leather sweatband with the gold foil Lanning stamp and the original gold size tag. Tag Size: 7 1/8 / 57 Condition Statement Excellent vintage condition! The wool felt body, brim, and structure are in gorgeous shape with no major crushing or distortion. The exterior is clean with vibrant color. The interior leather sweatband is intact and secure. There is a faint, handwritten "5" chalked onto the inner felt wall of the crown (visible in photos). This is an authentic, original factory blocker's mark from the manufacturing processused by the vintage hatmaker to identify the style block, production batch, or assembly size before the lining and sweatband were finished.
