5.11 Men's Tactical A.T.A.C. 2.0 8" Shield or Side Zip Boots. These are popular tactical boots designed for public safety personnel and military use.  Key Features Materials: They feature a durable combination of a polishable full-grain leather toe and an 840D nylon high-abrasion upper. Closure: The boots include both a traditional lacing system and a YKK® side zipper for easy on and off. Comfort & Support: They are designed for all-day wear with a full-length dual-durometer Ortholite® footbed, an Achilles heel flex zone for improved range of motion, and a Shock Mitigation System® for absorbing impact. Protection: The "Shield" version is ASTM/CSA certified with a protective carbon-tac toe and a puncture-resistant board, along with a waterproof/bloodborne pathogen membrane. The standard "Side Zip" version does not have these safety ratings or the waterproof membrane. Outsole: They have a slip- and oil-resistant rubber outsole with multi-directional lugs for enhanced traction.
