A genuinely rare vintage Swingline stapler made in Great Britain — not the typical USA-made version collectors usually find. The base is stamped Swingline INC. L.I.C., N.Y. 11101, Made in GT Britain, British Patent 1337758, placing manufacture in the early-to-mid 1970s. Gold tan top cap, dark brown base, full chrome internal channel with spring and staple feed intact. Accepts standard staples. Partial strip loaded. Approximately 5.5 inches long. Condition: surface scratches and scuffs on gold cap, light oxidation on chrome internals, general wear on brown base. All structural parts intact. No original box. Sold as-is. A unique vintage desk piece that stands out from the crowd of common USA-made Swinglines. Ideal for a mid-century modern styled office or a vintage office collectibles display.
