Vintage porcelain trinket dish (originally designed as a luxury ashtray) from the former Élysée Lenôtre restaurant, which was located at 10, Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris, France. Crafted in France by the renowned porcelain house Pillivuyt. (Stamped on back) The old Parisian telephone number printed on the bottom (42-65-85-10) dates this specific piece to roughly the mid-1980s to mid-1990s, right before France transitioned from 8-digit to 10-digit phone numbers.These dishes are highly collectible souvenirs, often repurposed today as a small jewelry holder, desk tray, or soap dish. Founded by legendary pastry chef Gaston Lenôtre, the "Maison Lenôtre" company managed the high-end restaurant and boutique inside this pavilion for decades. Today, the venue operates as an upscale event space. Condition: Perfect condition. No chips or fading.
