Hi! I was notified that you sold some artisan pieces without giving credit to the artisan who made them. When selling a handmade artisan piece, it's good etiquette to identify the maker whenever possible. Giving credit recognizes their craftsmanship and honors the time and creativity they put into each piece. I hope you'll consider doing this in the future. Thank you.

@aprilsplace0625 I sold 1. I wish I asked permission. As a matter of fact. I have listened 2 of Kelco’s and given credit to her and listed one of yours and given credit to you. I do wish you would welcome people leaving your chicken 🐓 tag on. When purchasing an artisan’s piece people want to know that it is authentic & made by the artisan who you are saying made it. If I say it is authentic Aprilsplace but it doesn’t have your chicken 🐓 tag then they may not believe it is authentic!

Jackie, I am so sorry I didn’t give you the credit due to you for your work. You certainly deserve it for your beautiful work.
April, I did ask Kelli, she told me to use her brand. Please check your brand.
I will DM my buyer of these earrings and let her know who the artisan is. I didn’t use my brand on these, I used “Artisan “ for the “Brand” and I didn’t say I made them. Going forward I’ll do better. Thanks - Leslie - Desert Beads 🥰🌵🌞

No need to ask permission. Just if you sell, always give credit to the person who made it. For example, this piece was made by an artisan not listed in the listing. You should LEAVE MY CHICKEN ON IF ITS A PIECE I MAKE.

@desertbeads, also keep on any maker's tags when selling. The only time you would take them off is if the piece is modified.

I have DM my buyer of these earrings, and I let her know who the artisan was. I told her how to find her and that I made a mistake, not acknowledging her.
Now I’m going to make a whole new listing for April‘s necklace WITH THE CHICKEN ON IT! APRIL I NEVER TOOK YOUR CHICKEN OFF
