Suede body shows whitening and tonal variation across the nap, characteristic of this suede with age, with small surface marks present. Velvet-touch hand retained. Patent crest largely intact with high gloss; a small area of lifting at the handle fold, a natural stress point, consistent with age on vintage patent. Gold-tone handle bright with minimal scratching. Tortoise resin chain intact with functional clasps. Interior shows faint surface marks from use.
