My tray up for sale. THIS HAS approx. 2” repair—I sacrificed a $30 vintage holiday bag to do it—which I will include in case it ever gets damaged. See last pic for before. This is a lacquered tray so it has natural “inclusions” or wrinkles in the silver, and it could use a cleaning beyond my sponge cleaning (if you care about the back side being seen?) i think there is a spot through on the silver (see pic) I would repaint if you have silver. I just wasn’t sure what to use on it—not a pro. This is a rare piece purchased at MC in East Aurora, NY. It’s about 12” x 16” 🥰

lilahlou This appears to be in overall great condition in the front. Not worried about the back. Would like to use this for a party. Is it in good shape minus the back which is no big deal to me. Thanks😊

lilahlou Hi, I know I’m sorry after I reread and sent my comment. I thought that didn’t make sense. I guess what I am trying to say is is it nice enough for $170? I just wanna make sure there’s no scratches on the front of it or there’s no, I noticed you said something about repainting the silver and I really don’t wanna do that. I just wanna make sure that if I pay that and I buy it that I can set it out on my table and use for family and friends. Thanks so much sorry about the confusion.

margogo55 @lilahlou The silver painting I was talking about was really like for pic 9. (If I kept it I’d dot silver nail polish there—just because..,). This is not a brand new tray—it’s vintage Mackenzie Childs. But it’s 100% presentable for entertaining! Your question about scratches—there are superficial/light use scratches completely consistent with age/light use but nothing glaring—I repaired the spot that concerned me. It’s nice & rare MC. I have it leaned up on my sideboard on display.
