This limited edition of "a Portfolio of Views Taken in Vacationland" has 148 descriptive pages and over 100 exquisite black and white photographs of Maine's natural, beautiful sites, as a tourist might have seen them during the final months of WWII. An interesting feature of this text is the author's note that explains the rough paper used as required by the government during this period of time. (See the second to last picture.) The book is in very good used condition. The boards and spine are tight and the pages clear. A small tear can be seen in the top binding, Owner's name plate is on a blank page.
