Gucci upcycled Gold-Tone Disc Drop Hair Pins set pair

Gucci authentic material made into drop earrings with textured round discs. Gold-tone stems feature subtle square accents. Disc centers show brown woven texture. What does upcycled mean? well, it means taking an authentic item (such as a used luxury purse) deconstructing it completely, then using the "scraps" such as the material,zippers,tags,name plates,etc. to create a new usable item such as earrings or bracelet. These are not affiliated with the original designer but repurposed by the artisan as a completely different item. Pricing is determined by how rare the materials are, like there may only be a couple of LV patches on a bag but other material of that same piece with flowers or just a colored coated canvas or leather. The few pieces that are made with the LV patches will be priced higher than the items made of the more abundant materials leftover.
