This new, navy blue Toni Totes large canvas tote bag kit is ready for your finishing touch of your own needlework art design. The workspace measures approximately 18 1/2 inches by 3 inches. According to the included kit instructions for needlepoint work, they estimate one yard of yarn per square inch. For the Bargello or Straight stitch use a full strand of 3 ply yarn on 12 & 14 hole mesh. Add 10% yarn overall. It recommends using the Basketweave stitch or Bargello stitching (also known as Brick, Flame, Hungarian and Florentine stitching.) (See photos for complete instructions.) This tote has two front pockets and one inner zippered pocket. The canvas work area is protected on the inside by a large flap. The four top corners of this tote are reinforced with metal edges. Approximate Dimensions of the tote bag: 19 inches wide, 8 inches deep, 15 inches tall without handle straps (8 inches from top of tote to top of straps). This tote is not a lightweight and very well made. It would be an excellent personalized gift and one that will be used for a very long time. I have found only one other on another site that sold for $80.
