Rare lot of 36 vintage 1991 Camel cigarette advertising matchbooks made for R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company by D.D. Bean and Sons Co. Over 20 distinct designs spanning the most sought-after Joe Camel advertising campaigns of the early 1990s. Designs include the Hard Pack band series, Joes Smooth Philosophy in three colorways, Monumentally Smooth, Camel Ultra Lights, Midnight at the Oasis, Camel Wides and Wider, Camel Records, Leonardo Da Camel, Neanderthal Camel, Camel Genuine Taste, Smoother, On Life, On Timing, On Horror Movies, On Cheap Cigarettes, classic Camel portrait, and the yellow checkered Camel. Matches appear present and unused in all 36 books. Two covers show light surface wear; the rest are in excellent shape. Each book measures approximately 1.5 x 2 x 0.4 inches.
