Per internet search- Louis Vuitton it’s completely possible for the date code and the “Made in” stamp to seem different, and that alone does not automatically mean the item is fake.
A few examples:
* A wallet might say “Made in France” but have a date code that collectors associate with a factory in Spain.
* Some items were partially assembled in one country and finished in another.
* Louis Vuitton has produced items in France, Spain, Italy, the U.S., and Germany over the years
