Vintage 1939 linen postcard featuring a large-letter "Greetings from Shawnee Oklahoma" design by Curt Teich & Co. (C.T. Art-Colortone series, production code 9A-H1449). Bold block letters are filled with illustrated Oklahoma landmarks including a Will Rogers statue, pioneer mother-and-child monument, waterfall, scenic estate drive, and oil derrick gusher. Celebrates Oklahoma as the "Native State of Will Rogers, Famous Humorist." Standard size 3.5" x 5.5" with textured linen surface and vibrant candy-color dye inks typical of the 1930s-1940s era. Unposted and unused. Condition is VG+ with clean image side, strong color, and no creases, tears, or significant staining. Large-letter small-city cards are a recognized Americana collecting niche, and Shawnee-specific examples are scarcer than generic state issues. Will Rogers crossover appeal adds named-subject collectible value. Shipped securely in a protective sleeve. Combined shipping available.
