Vintage 1950s Gold Clasp Edwards Bags Ltd. Convertible Gold & Black Evening Purse, Mid-Century 2 in 1 Bag This simply stunning 1950s gold and black handbag design is to die for. It has a convertible 2 in 1 feature- you simply remove the outer gold brocade to reveal a classic black purse beneath. Created by American Handbag company Edwards Bags Ltd., this design is not only practical but beautiful. It is lined in gold satin and contains three inner pockets.It has a snap closure clasp and a gold chain handle. COLOR: Gold brocade design with green, blue and pink accents. Gold metal. Black. MATERIAL: Satin, cotton, metal, velour. CONDITION: Gold outer Layer: Good condition, besides some slight evidence of wear at the base corners. The black velour lining has some marks on the fold lines and where it attaches to main purse. Black exterior: Has some evidence of fading or discolouration, but it is uniform throughout.
