How is it US Medium when the tag says size 4? 4 is EXTRA small.

@shrimpything As you may know, sizing (especially vintage) has much more to do with measurements than tags. A 14"-16" waist is not an EXTRA small but rather a MEDIUM. Im also a medium and it fits me. Please read the listing.
