ANTIQUE Amber Seahorse Brooch - Amber Silver

Seahorse brooch with a large amber cabochon center. Intricate Silver metalwork. Warm amber and antique silver coloring. Great statement accessory. This was purchased in New Orleans at a antique shop, approximately sometime in the early 90's. So it was an antique then and it's older now. The Amber is approximately 1.25l x .75w x .5h. The Sea horse is approximately 3.5l x 1.50w. I have not polished this as some people like a great patina. I did take a polishing cloth on the reverse. As you can see in the 4th picture it will shine up. I don't think you will get that high gloss that we are used to seeing. There are no markings anywhere that I can find. Wear as a brooch or as a necklace.
