I feel like I should note very clearly that this is for one, single earring. I purchased this as a single earring (with the idea to wear a long dangle in the other ear), and I may have only done that once. I since learned that one of my ears is ever so slightly lower on my head, which doesn't make the whole asymmetrical earring thing a good idea (TMI). This handcrafted beauty should be under the sun and not in a jewelry case. It's 14k solid gold (photo of "14k" marking included). These are still on the franny e site at $250 for a single.
