Neck strap is stitched shut to avoid an "Ooops!" moment and slips on over your head. Under the beaded top silk layer there is a layer of both deep purple and bright green that give an iridescent sheen beneath the silk. Missing a small section of beading on bottom towards edge -see images. It is possible for you to have beads added, if you feel it necessary. It looks so good on, I did consider having it shortened for more versitile party wearing options.
