This lovely Mexican punched tin mirror for the vanity or table top is circa 1980s, and it is one of the more lovely pieces I've found. Mexican tin work is one of the least known of folk arts from that country yet has been produced since the 16th Century. I have a fairly large collection of older Mexican tin frames and figurines, having just begun to sell off my personal collection, and these mirrors are quite special in that the glass mirror often breaks along the way. This one has original mirror and is still functional. The tin is great condition, and it still swivels in the stand.
Measures about 17-1/2" tall by 7" wide and the stand is about 7-1/2" deep. Weighs almost two pounds unpacked.
No chips or cracks. Some bends in the tin. Please see all photos
