dzoobaby I did something similar to a pair of Guess jeans way back in the 80’s! I made cuts that frayed, sewed on leather patches, grommets with neon yellow shoe laces and beads. I still have them packed away somewhere but they no longer fit-I had so much fun in those pants!! Back then, it wasn’t like today when you can go online and find anything you want-we were stuck with what was available in brick and mortar stores or you had to be creative.
