0042 Y2K K. Amato Chunky Two-Layer Green and Gold Tone Acrylic Beaded Necklace This heavyweight, two-layer green acrylic and gold tone metal beaded necklace is from Chicago-based designer K. Amata, whose items reached popularity in the late 2000s. The necklace has a large open cable chain with round and square beads adding interest. Note that the metal has a vintage patina that tends towards a coppery color giving an industrial look. I'm not sure if this was original or a result of age. It is still lovely regardless. Signed K.
