Clean, complete example of the iconic Argus C3 — America's best-selling 35mm camera, produced 1939–1966 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Later production model fitted with the desirable Coated Cintar 50mm f/3.5 lens. Tested and functional: shutter fires at all speeds, focus ring turns smoothly, rangefinder coupling gear engages properly, film door seals closed, all knobs and dials present and operational. Chrome shows light oxidation and wear on the rangefinder coupling gear and top plate — normal for age. Complete set includes original brown leather ever-ready case with shoulder strap and gold Argus lettering intact, blue velvet interior in good shape, and original Argus C3 instruction manual "Here Is Your Argus C-3" — complete with age-appropriate creasing and edge wear to covers. Case shows honest wear consistent with 60-plus years of use. A proven shooter or handsome display piece with all the right pieces present. Please review all photos carefully — they are part of the description.
