Hi there👋 It is very light and would be sheer if it wasn’t a dark color. I’m not sure if it would be called cotton muslin but it’s a very fine cotton. The skirt portion is what I would consider flouncy-ish lol. It is not lined and would not twirl though when dancing if that makes sense. It is the opposite of heavy though. Does that answer the question? ☺️
