A hand-thrown studio pottery crock featuring traditional salt-glazed stoneware construction. This piece is a classic example of Appalachian-style salt-glazed stoneware, likely from the Tennessee or North Carolina region, dating to the 1970s.
• Brand: Studio Pottery
• Type: Utensil Holder / Vase
• Material: Stoneware
• Color: Cream, Blue
• Pattern: Leaf Vine
• Markings: Hand-incised signature appears to read "The Studio."
• Measurements: 7in tall, 4.5in wide.
Very good vintage condition. No structural cracks, chips, or significant repairs. The interior is fully glazed and clean. The unglazed foot shows age-appropriate shelf wear and the natural "toasting" of the clay from the firing process.
We carefully select every item and believe in transparency. In the case of vintage or pre-owned items, we don't always know their full history, but we have high standards and won't list or sell anything we wouldn't use ourselves. All items come from a smoke-free home.
