Vtg Pair Powder Jars 1930s Yardley Gardenia w Puff Wood Lid & 1980 Avon Unicorn

Offered here is a pair of old dusting / talc powder vanity jars. They are empty of product.... just the jars. The first one is Yardley of London "Gardenia" dusting powder container, a popular vanity accessory typically dating from the 1930s to the 1940s. No powder, but the wool puff and wood lid (maybe or sycamore) are present. The base is pressed glass with a sterling or silverplate rim (not marked) that has a bit of tarnish. No cracks or chips in this piece, no cracks in the wood. Original label underneath the lid is worn, but present. The second of is a vintage heavy ceramic Avon powder jar from 1980. It features a unicorn on the lid in relief. The label has fallen off. No cracks or chips. See photos to complete description.
