Vintage Sheepskin Shearling Coat with Hood Size 12 (See Description re Size)

Vintage sheepskin shearling coat with hood in classic panel style. Beige/light tan hide with brown wool trim and plush lining. Zip front. Two front pockets. Very sturdy and extremely warm. Genuine sheepskin, 100% pure wool; dry clean only. No brand tag, but it was purchased at Men's Wearhouse/Leather Wearhouse in the mid-late 80s. NOTE: The size tag for this coat is a woman's size 12, but it's vintage, and vintage sizes tend to run smaller than current sizes. Please compare the following approximate measurements to a coat that fits you well to ensure a good fit, and let me know if you would like any additional measurements. Armpit to armpit: 19.5" Arm inseam (underarm to cuff): 16.5" Length (top of shoulder to hem): 30" The coat has no major defects (no holes, tears or major stains) and has a lot of life in it, but there are minor signs of wear. There are a few small worn spots on the suede (see 6th-9th photos). The brown trim between panels is worn down in some places (see 10th, 11th & 15th photos). There is some discoloration, particularly under the arms and along the zipper (see 12th-14th photos), a few minor spots (see 15th photo) and a mark that looks like ball point pen (see 16th photo); these could probably be removed or reduced by a trip to a dry cleaner.
