Pair of vintage mother of pearl (possibly black lip mother of pearl) dangle statement earrings, hand carved into large leaves. Likely from the 1970s or 1980s. Amazingly iridescent from different angles: peachy with green and pink flash. The video was taken in regular indoor lighting, the flash should look amazing outside. Good used condition. No scratches but there’s a tiny chip on the top of one of the earrings (see photo). The original ear hooks and jump rings were replaced due to corrosion of the original metal. You can see the iron staining from the back around the drill hole but it does not seem to have affected the integrity of the shell. Very lightweight, the leaves themselves measure around 1.75” in length (though the drop is longer when you add in the ear hooks).
