I purchased this from Lillicoco, an amazing antique seller and would love for this to go to someone who adores Shakudo! These are her photos. A refined Art Deco Shakudo bracelet, composed of scalloped round plaques linked for fluid movement. Each plaque displays fine gold and silver-toned inlay against a rich dark background, depicting flowers, butterflies and serene Japanese landscapes with beautiful clarity. Finished with a neat box clasp and safety chain for peace of mind. Crafted in Shakudo—a traditional mixed-metal alloy of copper with a small amount of Gold, chemically patinated to achieve its distinctive black-brown ground-this bracelet showcases miniature artistry in a wearable form. Elegant, tactile and timeless, it's a charming statement of Art Deco design. Very Good Condition. The scenic Shakudo panels show light, even surface wear commensurate with age and minor patina rubbing in places. One link shows a historic solder repair.
