Vintage brass bead necklace w/ natural mother of pearl chips & carved pendant

This is a stunner from the late 70s. Measures 18” long with a sturdy barrel clasp. I haven’t found anything like it. There’s an ornately-carved center bead held in place by 2 molded brass end caps. What follows are stations of natural shell chips that are being identified as mother of pearl by my rock identifier app, small round brass beads and larger flying-saucer molded brass beads. This is a special piece that I hate to let go of but it needs a new life rather than looking at the inside of my jewelry box. Measures 18” (not adjustable).
