Vtg Brushed Corduroy Child's Red Vest Christmas Church Holiday Special 22" Chest

Vintage 1970's - 1980's Appears Unworn! Child's Excellent Quality Tailored Christmas Red Vest - Soft Brushed Fine Ribbed Corduroy with Brass Buttons and Satin Back - Looks to be Home Tailored, No Tags The size appears to be quite forgiving with the big open armhole and V-neck. The front is all soft finely ribbed red corduroy, the back and inside are a satin or acetate blend. Faux slant pocket tabs, brass button front, and tailored waistcoat point hem. Sleeveless with bigger than normal armholes so can be worn over a shirt or sweater. Size: Looks to me to be about a size 2, but it is not tagged. I compared the measurements to one of my children's sewing patterns and found these measurements could fit anywhere from a size 1 to a size 5 just depending on the pattern design. Quite a size spread, so compare measurements shown in the photo to that of a known well-fitting garment. Too cute for the holidays, a theme wedding, or photographs! Festive enough to be "dressy" when worn with slacks or a suit for the holidays, church and all the family photos. Then go casual and switch to jeans for the Christmas fun stuff with the cousins or to have a bit more sporty or western look. I also have another one listed in a bigger size. Great for Big Brother, Little Brother is my first thought, but one could very easily pair it with a blouse or sweater for sister!
