Vintage 1960s Persian Lamb Cropped Coat with Mink Collar

This vintage 1960s Persian lamb cropped coat is such a versatile, chic piece of outerwear. Persian lamb is such a coveted outerwear material, known for its very silky, tightly curled glossy fur, and it's harder to find quality coats in this material compared to other vintage furs. Lamb is known as one of the softest and warmest of furs. In sleek black, the mink fur collar offers a contrasting texture to the curly black lamb. The shape is classic 1960s, with dropped shoulders and dropped armholes creating a intentionally somewhat-boxy shape which works well on a range of sizes. The sleeves are slightly cropped to balance these proportions. The interior is beautiful black silk. The custom embellished buttons really add to the luxe effect. This coat fits S-M, I'm guess around a 12. I wear a 14 and cannot put it on. It fit my daughter who is a size 12. ***Important note: This fur coat was made by my MIL's uncle, who was a furrier in the NYC fur district and given to her as a gift straight from the factory. Therefore, it does not contain a designer label.*****
