Utterly charming vintage book from the 1910s, "A Third Reader" by Stratton D Brook published by the American Book Co. It was first published in 1906 and this edition appears to have been published in 1910.This is for the California State text book commitee and board of education. There are charming illustrations scattered throughout as well. Green cloth hardbound. A beautiful little book. Measures about 7.5" by 5.5". Excellent vintage condition. Typical signs of life and yellowing of pages. The front cover is coming a bit loose from the spine. There is a name and some scribbles of two previous owners in the front and back. Please note that many of my items are vintage and/or made using vintage materials. I do my best to list any major issues but some signs of life and love are to be expected and only add to their charm.
